SST(Special Service Tools ) for DHR hybrid ball joint
2020年から販売しているDHRハイブリッドボールジョイントは、ロックダブの変更改良を伴いながら粛々と販売しております。
装着には写真の様にサイズの大きいディープタイプのソケットが必要です。ミニの専門店なら必ず持っているはずです。
※持ってなかったらミッション修理とかは自社でやってません。サイズはミリで38、インチで1-1/2です
特定の車種を専門にしているなら普通使わないようなソケットサイズを持っています。
私はロータリーエンジンのOHもやるので54㎜ソケットを持ってますよ。
A deep type socket with a large size is required for installation as shown in the photo. Any mini specialty shop should have it.
*If you don’t have it, we don’t do mission repairs in-house. The size is 38 in millimeters and 1-1/2 in inches
They have socket sizes that you wouldn’t normally use if you were specializing in a particular car model.
I also do rotary engine OH, so I have a 54mm socket.
欧州の取り扱い先に聞くと『大体みな持ってるし、普通に売ってるから困らない』とあっさりした答えばかりでしたが、日本はそうは行きません。
そこで、多分この先使う頻度が少ない工具を買うのを躊躇ってるミニオーナーは弊社のハイブリッドボールジョイントを着ける機会に恵まれかないかも知れないので、

作りました、DHRで。勿論一部SNSなどでブーツを外さないと工具が入らないなどのフェイク情報も心配ありません。
また、ソケットレンチではなく、クローフットタイプ（口が開いてないからクローフットではないのですが）なので、ボルトセンターからの距離が増える為、締め付けトルクは少し下がります。つまり中型のトルクレンチで充分です。ホイールナットを締めるような大型のトルクレンチは要りません。

Also, since it is not a socket wrench but a claw foot type (it is not a claw foot because the mouth is not open), the tightening torque is slightly lower because the distance from the bolt center increases. A medium sized torque wrench will suffice. You don’t need a large torque wrench to tighten wheel nuts.

ハンドルのナットやタワーボルトの脱着の為、そのサイズのソケットレンチは皆持っていたものですが、最近はどうなのかなぁ。
ラバーコーンコンプレッサーとか、ハイローキットを、自分で入れていた時代のミニオーナーはいろいろ自前で持っていましたよ。
